May 2018 - Treasurer position

Our outgoing treasurer, Jon Holmes, is at the end of his maximum six year term so we are now seeking his successor.

Our new treasurer will play a crucial role in Dwell’s development and growth plans. You’ll be a key board member helping us ensure we have fit-for-purpose financial strategies and financial management to support Dwell’s services, growth and our continued success.

You’ll have extensive financial skills, be business savvy with a social heart, a sound strategic thinker, a strong people person and a great team player. You will have a track record as a board member so a good knowledge of governance, and a commitment to community housing.

The responsibilities and qualities of the treasurer, and other board members, are listed in the treasurer role profile (PDF, 404kb).

Dwell has a minimum of eight board meetings each year including a strategic planning day. The expected time commitment from the treasurer is about 10 hours each month, including meetings.

There is a lot of information about our great organisation on this website including biographies of our people, information about Dwell and what we do, and our 2016-2017 annual report.
