July 2015 - Meet our new housing officer

We’d like to introduce our new housing officer, Liz Kemp. Our housing officer is at the heart of what we do. The role is about more than managing homes, it’s about delivering and developing our quality housing services for our customers. Liz is responsible for our tenancy management and the maintenance of Dwell’s properties. Liz is also doing our communications work as well, including social media.

Originally from England, Liz started her career in social housing at Leicester Housing Association (now LHA-ASRA) in Nottingham. After a period travelling overseas, she worked at Sanctuary Housing in Hull and Leeds. Having visited New Zealand during her overseas trip she was keen to return and moved here in 2011. Before joining Dwell she worked for City Housing at the Wellington City Council.

Liz was keen to work for a community minded organisation and this is what attracted her to Dwell. She believes access to good quality and stable housing is a necessary foundation to enable people to thrive, something which is in line with Dwell’s values.

“We are thrilled to have Liz as part of the team. Her experience and professionalism are already making a difference”, says Director Alison Cadman.
