May 2015 - Opinion Piece in Dominion Post

An interesting opinion piece that mentions Dwell was published in The Dominion Post on 12 May 2015 . It was written by Dr Richard Norman, a senior lecturer in Victoria University's School of Management, and Bernard Teahan, a former chief executive of Trust House Ltd - a licensing trust in the Wairarapa.

The number of homes that Dwell owns and manages is reported incorrectly in the article. We now actually own more homes than stated.

We prefer however to say we manage 84 tenancies. Many of our tenancies are with people who we provide supported housing to, and so require more support and services. The number of tenancies better reflects our capacity and the services we provide.

Richard and Bernard question the viability of the government’s social housing sell off. We think they make some very good points.
